Diaspora Group Congratulates Governor Okpebholo, Calls for Strategic Development Partnerships

The Ogbona Diaspora, a socio-political organization of Edo State indigenes abroad, has extended its congratulations to Senator Monday Okpebholo on his inauguration as Governor of Edo State.

The Ogbona Diaspora highlighted three critical areas they believe should receive immediate attention:
Economic Development: By leveraging Edo State’s abundant natural resources and rich cultural heritage to stimulate sustainable growth and create employment opportunities.
Infrastructure Development: Modernizing essential facilities, including roads, healthcare, clean water supply, electricity, and education, to improve the quality of life for citizens.
Security and Safety: Strengthening law enforcement and fostering community engagement to safeguard lives and properties.
Headquartered in the United States, the Ogbona Diaspora focuses on mobilizing resources for the development of the Ogbona community and Edo State at large. The organization reaffirmed its willingness to collaborate with the new administration in identifying and implementing impactful projects.
“We are ready to work hand-in-hand with the government to explore opportunities that will benefit both Ogbona and Edo State as a whole,” the statement affirmed.
Expressing optimism about Governor Okpebholo’s leadership, the group voiced its hope for a prosperous and progressive Edo State, urging the administration to set a standard that other states could emulate.
“We are confident that Edo State will flourish under your stewardship,” the group added.
