Despite my financial limitations, I “ll prioritize my people’s welfare —–Nasarawa lawmaker

Member representing Wamba in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Emmanuel Ezikel. Manding on Friday said despite his financial limitations he would continue to prioritize the welfare of his constituent, tasking them on peace and unity in the state.

The Lawmaker who spoke in Lafia while reflecting on his one year in office, explained that he would not be deterred from rendering Humanatarian services to the people maintained that his primary responsibility is to make laws but added that well fair of his constituent remain paramount above every consideration.

Manding while regretting the attitude of some public office holders towards their people, expressed gratitude to all supporters and the entire people of Wamba for the support and patience shown to him in the past one year, saying whatever success he has achieved would not have been possible.

“while i recognize and count on your support and showing understanding with me, I will want you to exercise more patience, remain steadfast in your desire for better tomorrow. I am here to serve you I may not meet all their expectations but I will do my best to represent you and bring development to the area”. Hon Manding said.

“My financial limitations can not be a barrier to carry out a number of community projects which I have started such as building of classrooms, construction of examination facility in some secondary schools within the constituency

He disclosed however that in December last year, food items, cash and wears were distributed as palliatives to citizens irrespective of religion, political to cushion the effect of the unbearable hardship being experienced by the people.

“This parliative was distributed in all the 10 electorial wards that made up the constituency. Currently, solar rural electrification is ongoing on in all the rural communities as well as construction of Clinic in Jinibol, two classroom and headmaster’s office in Ambuga.

He disclosed further that through his efforts, construction of a block of two classrooms is ongoing in Mangar to boost primary education, while rural roads linking Kwarra to Mangar which he initiated and started has been taking over by the Federal Government and is being tarred.

Hon Manding sued for patience peace and unity amongst the people, promised to do more for the people in the years ahead.

The lawmaker, who is the chairman House Committee on Lands, ceased the opportunity to commend Governor Abdullahi Sule, Speaker of the House of Assembly for their leadership qualities which he said was propelling the state inclusively.
“I want to used this opportunity to first commend the governor for prioritizing the development of rural communities, industrialization, educational development and healthcare among several other strides.

“Let me also commend all former legislators that represented Wamba state constituency in the past, you all did well”, Hon Manding concluded.
