Delta State Government Boosts Power Supply in Agbor-Nta Community with 300KVA Transformer Donation

The Delta State Government, led by Hon. Engr. Jerry Ehiwarior of the Ministry of Power and Energy, marked a significant stride in power infrastructure development by donating a 300KVA transformer to Agbor-Nta Community in Ika South Local Government Area.
The ceremonial handover took place with the gracious presence of Elder Ndudi Don Agholor, President of Agbor-Nta Community Worldwide, also known as Shettima.
Expressing profound gratitude, Elder Ndudi Don Agholor highlighted the significance of the transformer in ensuring a reliable power supply for Agbor-Nta. He conveyed appreciation for the swift response of the Commissioner for Power and Energy, Hon. Engr. Jerry Ehiwarior, and acknowledged the commitment of Governor Oborevwori to community development.
“The Commissioner promised us a 300KVA Transformer to ensure steady power supply in Agbor-Nta, and today, we gathered in receipt of the 300KVA transformer. The speedy response is highly appreciated. Agbor-Nta will work in synergy with the government,” stated Elder Ndudi, emphasizing the need for government support in road construction towards the community’s river, rich in construction sand.
Acknowledging the transformative impact of the government, Elder Ndudi expressed gratitude to Hon. Engr. Jerry Ehiwarior, Governor Oborevwori, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, and Hon. Tatabuzogwu for their contributions to the community’s development.
Ezinne Cecilia Ogbonyeri, in her remarks, described the transformer donation as a welcome development, extending thanks to the Delta Government for their kindness. She praised Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa as a political father and mentor.
Chief Augustine Ikpoza and Mr. Okafor Ogbe echoed the community’s joy, assuring the safety of the transformer and expressing gratitude for the government’s benevolence. They credited Shettima for his positive influence and thanked Hon. Engr. Jerry Ehiwarior for his kindness, praying for continued blessings on him and the Governor.
