Dangote Refinery has announced a reduction in the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), known as petrol.

In a statement released on its official X account on Thursday, spokesperson Anthony Chiejina revealed that the ex-depot price of petrol has been lowered to ₦899.

50 per litre down from ₦970.

Chiejina remarked, “This reduction aims to alleviate transport costs during the festive season.

Starting today, our petrol will be available at ₦899.50 per litre at our truck loading gantry and Single Point Mooring (SPM).”

Additionally, the company introduced a promotional offer allowing customers to purchase one litre of petrol on credit for each litre paid for in cash.

This offer is supported by bank guarantees from Access Bank, First Bank, or Zenith Bank.

This price reduction follows recent decreases in petrol prices by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) and various oil marketers at their retail outlets, further contributing to the easing of transportation costs during the holiday period.
