Build APC on unity, togetherness — Tinubu tasks Stakeholders, members

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has tasked stakeholders and members of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) to build the party on unity, progress rather than working at crossroads purposes.

According to President Tinubu, if the party must make progress at this time that the nation is confronted with challenges, stakeholders and members must shun individualism and forge a formidable force in the interest of the country.

Tinubu Urges members of the party to ensure that peace, unity and acceptability of each other’s views if they must remain in power.

President who spoke at the North Central Zonal Stakeholders Meeting of the party in Lafia, the Nasarawa State Capital.

called on APC to be aware that unity of the party was the lead way to the progress, stability the nation is yearning for.

Represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation ( SGF), Senator George Akume, the President noted that as the ruling party every step must be taking to ensure that the party remain united in order to take the party to the next level of governance and development of the country.

” I want to appeal to all of you to maintain unity We need to maintain unity of purpose, unity of brothers and sister for the progress of our party and the country at large”, the president stated.

While commending Governors of the North Central for being up and doing in initiating projects that are impacting on the citizens, Tinubu solicited for continuous support and prayers from stakeholders, APC members and other Nigerians to enable his administration provide for the needs of Nigerians and Nigeria.

On his part, the APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje said that the party has introduced a lot of reform including e- registration for party members.

” We have introduced e-registration for party members as e-registration will give us accurate numbers of our party members,” he said

Ganduje who appreciated Gov. Abdullahi Sule and the North Central APC leaders for extending its APC North Central Zonal meeting invitation to him, called on stakeholders and other members of the party to embrace unity for the existence of the party and overall development of the country

On their part, Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Governor Abdullahi Sule and.Gov Usman Ododo all said the meeting was to discuss issues that would move the party forward.

According to the governors, the meeting was also organized to thank the stakeholders for the success of party and to interact for the overall development of the party.

They called called on the stakeholders and other members of the party to build a formidable North Central Zone and support president Tinubu to succeed adding that “let’s all make the North Central formidable for the interest of our party and the nation”

On their parts Sen. Abdullahi Adamu, Rep Idris Wase, Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman Ibrahim, Minister of Police Affairs ( State) Hon Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim, member representing Nasarawa Central at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly among other stakeholders also called on the party members to continue to remain focused and united for the progress of the party

It would be recalled that the meeting had in attendance Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, APC National Chairman, Sen. George Akume, Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwarra State, Gov. Usman Ododo of Kogi State, Gov.Hycinth Alia of Benue State, Sen. Abdullahi Adamu, Sen. Umar Tanko Al- Makura, Speaker , Nasarawa State House of Assembly Danladi Jatau, Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman Ibrahim, Minister of Police Affairs ( State), Hon Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim, member representing Nasarawa Central at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, stakeholders, members of the party attended the meeting.
