Breaking: Ex Senate leader Yahya wins at Apex Court

Massive jubilations has broke out in Argungu local government area of Kebbi state the country home of the former Senate leader and the serving Senator Kebbi South Senatorial district Dr Yahya Abdullahi Malamawan Kabi.

His victory at Apex court was confirmed by his media aid Alhaji Jamilu Gulma who said that they dedicated the victory to Allah and the people of his constituency for the massive supports and fervent prayers during the trying period.

He urged supports to while celebrating avoid rancour “we are so elated that the ex Senate leader Dr Yahya is now the valid candidate for Kebbi South, he deserves it because he has always been on the side of the masses we pray he wins the polls to continue his good jobs to his people and Kebbi state.

While calling for calm Gulma admonished their followers to arm themselves with permanent voters cards as it is the only sure to return him to Senate .

Recall that, the former Senate leader defected to opposition peoples democratic party after losing what was described as shambolic Guber primaries in Kebbi state, upon his defection he picked up a Kebbi South ticket which was later nullified by the federal high court in Birnin Kebbi after he was sued by the winner who did primaries before he joined the part.

Dissatisfied with the Court ruling Malamawa appealed at Sokoto federal court of appeal who as well upheld the ruling of the lower court, the legal battle continues which took him to Apex court where he won and declared the valid candidate for Kebbi South under the platform of peoples democratic party.

However, his victory at Apex court has now completely changed the complexion of Kebbi politics because is one of the political arrow heads in Kebbi politics along side his political ally Senator Muhammadu Aliero who also won at surpreme court as it stands Aliero will go head to head with the sitting governor of Kebbi state, Senator Atiku Bagudu who is the current candidate of Kebbi central under the platform of the ruling All progressives Congress (APC).
