Bandits Assault Nigerian Soldier, Kidnap Wife and Son

In a distressing incident in Niger State, Warrant Officer Suleiman, a Nigerian Army officer, was severely assaulted by a group of heavily armed bandits.

The attack took place at his residence in Sabon Wuse, within the Tafa Local Government Area, on the night of August 6, 2024.

Reports indicate that during the assault, the bandits abducted Suleiman’s wife and son.

The injured soldier is currently receiving medical treatment at an undisclosed hospital within the state.

According to sources, Warrant Officer Suleiman was nearing retirement, with only a few months left in his service.

He was preparing for retirement training in Oshodi, Lagos State, and had previously served with the wife of General Agwai.

The whereabouts of Suleiman’s wife and son remain unknown following the attack.
