Ahead of the upcoming AWG Fest in Abuja, the Anti World Gang has called for an increase in the love and support for the highly anticipated event.

Founder of the group and popular artist OdumoduBlack expressed heartfelt appreciation for the overwhelming support that has brought the event to life.

He described the festival as more than just a music event, calling it a rallying point for young Nigerians to unite and create positive change.

Speaking to media representatives, supporters, and youth advocates at the Transcorp Hilton, OdumoduBlack highlighted the deeper purpose of AWG Fest—inspiring youth involvement and leadership.

“Your support means everything, not just to me but to the entire team working tirelessly to make AWG Fest happen,” he said, recognizing the collective effort behind the festival’s success.

AWG Fest is positioned as a blend of music, culture, and empowerment, aiming to provide a space for young Nigerians to connect, share ideas, and collaborate on solutions for a better future. “We’re at a critical moment, not just in music or culture, but as a generation,” OdumoduBlack noted, urging the youth to take the reins of their destiny.

“Now, more than ever, we need to stand together. The world is moving quickly, and we can’t afford to wait for others to lead,” he said, emphasizing the urgency for unity and proactive engagement.

Addressing recent government promises of a Youth Conference without a clear timeline, OdumoduBlack was candid. “We’ve heard the promises, but no dates have been set, and our challenges aren’t waiting. If they don’t create the platform for us, we’ll build our own,” he stated.

He explained that AWG Fest is designed to spark meaningful connections and encourage young people to turn frustration into action and challenges into opportunities. “When we come together, we have the power to transform,” he said.

OdumoduBlack also brought attention to AWG Fest’s charitable side, noting its partnership with the Lions Club Wuse branch to fund eye tests and surgeries for those in need. “This initiative will support essential eye care for individuals who can’t afford it,” he shared.

He closed with a call to action: “Let’s show up for each other, build each other up, and make AWG Fest the beginning of something significant.”
