APC State Assembly Candidates Welcome Senators Ifeanyi Ubah and Uche Ekwunife to Party

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates for the 2023 State House of Assembly election have expressed their warm welcome to Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, representing Anambra South in the Senate, and Senator Uche Ekwunife, the Director General of the South East Governors Forum, to the party.

In a statement released to the press by the forum’s leadership, the APC candidates conveyed their delight at the inclusion of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, heralding his entry into the party as a significant move that will bolster the standing of Anambra APC on the national political stage.

“Senator Ifeanyi Ubah is a notable leader and a heavyweight in politics.

His membership in the APC will elevate Anambra APC’s position on the national scene and pave the way for the party’s ascent to leadership in Anambra State.”

Extending their welcome, the forum also embraced Senator Uche Ekwunife, urging her to contribute her vast experience in electoral processes towards securing victories for the APC in Anambra.

The APC candidates expressed gratitude to the Anambra party leadership for facilitating the entry of these two influential political figures into the party fold.

Chaired by Hon Donatus Ngige and with Hon Cornel Ilokolobia Chukwugozie as Secretary, the forum comprises all APC candidates for the State House of Assembly in the 2023 election.
