Anxiety in Nasarawa assembly as certificate scandal rocks house ahead of 7th assembly inauguration. ****acclaimed varsity disowns lawmaker, writes house ****ICPC, EFCC, allegedly on the trail of the lawmaker

Tension, fears in Nasarawa State House of Assembly as certificate scandal is reportedly rocking the house ahead of the June 7th proclamation of the State Assembly by Governor Abdullahi Sule.

New Assembly members elect and the old lawmakers, are said to be apprehensive, jittery and panicking for the fear of possible investigation hence the involvement of a principal officer of the House, the Deputy Majority leader, Hon.

Apart from the principal officer of the house being accused of certificate forgery, the embattled member representing Kokona East it was gathered is also being reportedly accused of instigating crisis in his Local Government which allegedly led to lost of lives and destruction of properties.

Our correspondent reportedly gathered that his certificate scandal allegedly being investigated the EFCC, as well as being in the watch list of the anti-graft agency as a result of the alleged university disowning the lawmaker as a student who attended the university or graduated from the insitution

A documents obtained by our correspondent containing list of students that graduated from the institution as released by the Registrar of the institution, Olugbenga Arajulu indicated that Ogar Ogazi’s name was not found among students who graduated same year as claimed by Hon. Ogar Ogazi

The released signed by the Registrar of the institution and obtained by our correspondent reads in part:.

“I write to inform you that there is no record in the University to indicate that Daniel Ogah Ogazi was a student in the Department of computer science, faculty of science, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo state
”
“I do hope you will find the above information useful, please accept the assurances of my warmest Regards”

Activities and actions of the lawmaker is said to be reportedly raising high concern, uproar, anxiety and disaffection in the State over his alleged secret deals.

It would be recalled that the lawmaker has been in the House for the past Eight years and as a ranking member, he is vying for the Speakership position of the house to unseat the two term speaker in the Nasarawa state House of Assembly.

When contacted severally by our correspondent to obtain his side of the story, the lawmaker, Daniel Ogar Ovazi denied having issues with his certificate .

“I do not have issue with my degree certificate you are talking about. We will meet in court if you publish anything about me”, the lawmaker boasted.
