The Nigerian-born British boxer Anthony Joshua has surpassed $200 million in career earnings, securing his place among the sport’s wealthiest athletes.

This remarkable achievement puts Joshua ahead of fellow heavyweight rivals, including Tyson Fury and rising star Gervonta Davis.

In 2024 alone, Joshua earned an impressive $75 million from his fights, ranking as the second-highest earner of the year, only behind the legendary Canelo Alvarez.

While both boxers earned similar fight purses, Alvarez edged out Joshua by $2 million in off-field income.

Tyson Fury, at 36 years old, earned $50 million in 2024, bringing his total career earnings to $150 million, far behind Joshua’s impressive earnings.

Meanwhile, Gervonta Davis, aged 30, has reached $50 million in career earnings, boosted by his high-profile bouts with Ryan Garcia and Frank Martin, which added nearly $20 million to his wealth.

Joshua’s financial success accelerated following his rematch with Andy Ruiz Jr. in Saudi Arabia, where he earned a massive $65 million. His lucrative bouts with Oleksandr Usyk brought in over $40 million across their first two meetings, while his fight against Francis Ngannou last year alone added $50 million to his earnings.

Joshua’s total wealth also benefited from consecutive $12 million purses from matches against Jermaine Franklin and Robert Helenius, along with earnings from six major events at Wembley and the Principality Stadium.

Aged 35 years old, Joshua is currently recovering from injuries sustained in his recent loss to Daniel Dubois. He is now targeting a potential mega-fight with Tyson Fury, depending on the outcome of the highly anticipated Usyk vs. Fury rematch.

Joshua also has one remaining fight left on his contract with Riyadh Season, where he is expected to receive a substantial offer for a high-profile showdown with Fury.
