The Ezinano community in Anambra State has announced a ₦10 million reward for information leading to the arrest of suspected cultists linked to the killings of more than 20 people in the area.

The tragic events began with a mass killing in Nibo two weeks ago and were followed by a similar attack in the nearby Ifite community, claiming seven more lives

Jeff Nweke, the Ezinano community leader and CEO of Blue Shield Security in Awka, made the announcement on Saturday at a community empowerment event in Awka.

Nweke expressed deep sorrow over the violence, calling it unusual for the region.

He appealed to the public to support law enforcement efforts and assured that anyone providing helpful information would receive the full reward.
