Abuja: Full Anointed Gospel Church Celebrates 2024 Annual Thanksgiving

The Full Anointed Gospel Church, Abuja, has celebrated its 2024 Annual Thanksgiving.

The annual thanksgiving is to appreciate God for His mercy, favour and faithfulness upon all members of the Church since the beginning of year 2024.

In a sermon to mark the Annual Thanksgiving in Durumi 1, Abuja, the General Overseer of the Church, Pastor Samuel Sadiku said despite all challenges confronting the nation, God is still faithful to His children.

Pastor Sadiku who described thanksgiving as key to accessing divine blessings admonished Christians to always appreciate God in all situation.

Taking his bible reading from the book of Mathew chapter 22 verse 37, the General Overseer enjoined the congregation to always love one another and shun act that could deny them of God’s favour and blessings in their endeavour.

“As a child of God, we need to always thank God in whatever situation we found ourselves because according to the scripture our God takes delight in thanksgiving hence the need for us as christians to develop keen interest in appreciating Him for His goodness and mercy upon our lives” He explained.

While acknowledging the current economic hardship in the country, Pastor Samuel Sadiku noted that with the heart of gratitude and supplication to God, those who serve the Lord genuinely would definitely overcome challenges in their endeavours.

In his words “Things might be difficult right now in Nigeria but those who are born again in our Lord Jesus Christ and serve God in accordance with the teachings of the holy bible will surely sumout obstacles and have reasons to give thanks to God”.

Some members of the Church, Pastor Ikechukwu Agba and Reverend Justin Ogwuegbe expressed gratitude to God for giving them the grace to witness another Annual Thanksgiving Service of the Church.

While praying for God’s blessings, guidance and protection upon all members of the Church as year 2024 gradually winds down, they enjoined christians not to loose hope as the present situation of the country would soon be a thing of the past.

Highpoints of the Annual Thanksgiving Service were testimonies, , presentation of thanksgiving special offering, and prayers of thanksgiving for the church and the country in general.
