Abduction: Nasarawa Deputy Governor’s driver released 5 days after in captivity

The Deputy Governor of Nasarawa state, head driver kidnapped last Tuesday has been released after five days in the kidnappers den.

According to the family sources, the driver, Daniel Ogoshi’s abductors released him on Saturday, at about 8:15 pm,

It was not very clear However, whether ransom was paid to secure his release in the state.

The news of the driver’s freedom has however continued to raise questions and agitations as well as sending shock waves across the state.

This is even as the deputy governor, Dr Emmanuel Akabe had earlier not only condemned the rise in criminal activities in the state, but called for an end to the seemingly upsurge in crimes and criminalities in Nasarawa.

Some residents described the abduction of the driver as unfortunate, one too many recalling that not long a time, the former Deputy Governor, Professor Onje Gye Wado was kidnapped in his country home, Wamba.
