The anticipated commissioning of the National Assembly’s new Library and Research Center, initially slated for Saturday, December 16, 2023, has been postponed. This postponement is attributed to the ongoing Budget Defence sessions.

Dr. Ali Barde Umoru, the Secretary for Research and Information at the National Assembly, announced the postponement in a press release.

The statement expressed regrets for any inconveniences caused by this alteration in schedule. Additionally, it assured the public that a new date for the commissioning event will be communicated at a later time.
