Breaking: Labour Suspends Strike Following Government Intervention

In a swift turn of events, the organized labour, in the aftermath of a joint National Executive Council meeting (NEC), has opted to suspend the ongoing strike.

The unexpected halt to the strike action comes on the heels of the federal government’s intervention, facilitated through the office of the National Security Adviser (NSA).

The decision to embark on the strike was propelled by various factors, notably the assault on NLC chairman Comrade Joe Ajaero in Imo State and a series of other grievances voiced by the organized labour.
