Supreme Court Judgement: Victory for all Nigerians— Nasarawa speaker, says APC ‘ll settle down for governance ***congratulates President Tinubu, calls for support

Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi said on Friday that the victory of president Ahmed Bola Tinubu at the supreme was victory for all Nigerians.

This is even as he also assured that with the judgement, the ruling All Progressive Congress APC would now settle down for good governance and return the nation it’s lost glory.

Throwing his weight behind the Supreme Cot judgment that affirmed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the duly elected president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Balarabe Abdullahi felicitated with the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) and Nigerians, describing the court verdict as the affirmation and manifestation of the mandate of the country’s populace given to President Bola Tinubu and the APC during the election.

The Speaker called on all Nigerians to support the President to succeed, noting that the victory is for all Nigerians as the President will now settle down for full business of governance without distraction.

The Nasarawa State Number Three Citizen commended the judiciary on the landmark Judgement which he said that reflects the wishes and aspirations of many Nigerians.

Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi equally commended the APC lawyers for their outstanding efforts.

Meanwhile, a group under the agies of Stakeholders of All Progressive Congress APC, Wamba local government area has disowned the justice Ezikiel Ajayi led tribunal judgement that sacked governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state.

The group was however quick to express it’s confidence on the judiciary saying there was high hope that APC will get judgement in the appellate court

Addressing a press conference shortly after a solidarity rally in Wamba, Senior Legislative Aide to the immediate past president of the Senate, Ahmed Lawal, Hussaini Garba Shammah said APC stakeholders in Wamba joined other well meaning citizens of the state and Nigerians at large in rejecting the tribunal judgement delivered by justice Ajayi.

According to the group, the split judgement of 2-1delivered by justice Ajayi was not only unfortunate but did not go down well with the peaceful people of Nasarawa state.

“Just as we secured victory at the poll, notwithstanding the recent outcome of the we have utmost confidence that justice would prevail at the appellate court. As politics is described as the business of politicians, so aducation is the business of the legal experts”, the group declared.

“I want to use this medium to thank all our stakeholders and supporters to show their love to the administration of Abdullahi Sule who stand for peace, unity and development of our dear state, Nasarawa”.

The SLA to former president of the Senate noted that the people of the state especially the Wamba citizens would not relent in ensuring that the stolen APC mandate is recovered for those who casted their vote overwhelming for governor Sule during the March 18 Guber election in Nasarawa state.

“We have been watching with keen interest events in the face of the degrading comments by the opposition in the passion of celebration in the preceding weeks. Our efforts will never go in vein” Shammah boasted.

According to the Chairman, APC stakeholders in Wamba, the discerning judgement has not only strengthened their resolve to pursue the appeal, but lay the facts of the case for all to see.

He called on the residents, APC supporters and Nigerians at large to remain calm and avoid undue ultrances for the interest of peace, unity and development of Nasarawa state.
