Breaking: Police DPO Feared Killed By Gunmen Suspected To Be Fulani Herdsmen In Benue State

Gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen Tuesday,along Makurdi- Naka road shot and killed the divisional police officer, DPO, in charge of Naka division SP Mamud Abubakar.

It was not clear at the time of filling this report how the police officer was murdered but information available to City post indicates that the herders had allegedly blocked the popular Makurdi- Naka road, but it was not clear which way the DPO was coming from, before the incident occurred.

The commands Police Public Relations Officer,PPRO, SP Sewuese Anene who confirmed the death on the official WhatsApp page of the police said detailed information leading to death of the slain police officer would be released soon.
