The governor’s SSA who denied reports in the media that to the FCT minister Nyesom Wike has nothing to do with the up coming governorship election tribunal judgement explained that the Governor Sule’s visit to Wike was to discuss metro line project and not politics.

According to the governor’s aide while reacting to the allegation by the chairman of the opposition PDP, Francis Orogu, who on Saturday, Sept. 16 claimed that the governor’s visit was in connection to the ongoing dispute at the governorship elections petition tribunal.

The governor’s aide explained that the collaboration became imperative because about 49 percent of those working in FCT live Nasarawa State.

He added that Governor Sule-led administration would remain steadfast and shall resist being dragged into joining issues with the opposition because it considered that as distraction.

“It is on records that the state has witnessed development in the areas of security, infrastructure, industrialization, investment, human capital development, agriculture, health, education among others since assumption to office in 2019.

“The government decided to put the record straight for the avoidance of doubt by members of the public, who might be misled by the serial false alarm,” he added.
