Onyejeocha denied allegations of planning to cause crisis in Reps

Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, has denied allegations of planning to create a leadership crisis in the House of Representatives.

In a statement released by her Chief Press Secretary, Gabriel Emameh, she emphasized her commitment to her national duties assigned by President Bola Tinubu and her role as co-chairman of the APC’s national council for the governorship election.

These denials come in response to accusations made by Abidemi Johnson, convener of the Coalition of Asiwaju Progressive Women, who labeled Onyejeocha as ungrateful and accused her of seeking to disrupt the House of Representatives’ leadership for undisclosed reasons.

Onyejeocha, who initially represented Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency of Abia, became a minister following the Feb. 25 election, with the Election Petition Tribunal subsequently confirming her victory after overturning her opponent’s claims.
