Scout Association Postpones Awards, Ground Breaking Ceremonies

The Scout Association of Nigeria has postponed the planned first Scout parade (NISPPA-2023), earlier scheduled to hold in Abuja, Nigeria from Saturday the 28th to Tuesday, 1st February 2023.

In a press statement made available to Newsmen in Abuja, dated 26th January, signed by Dave Padopads Awuna, the chief Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), entitled “Notice of postponement and new date for Nigeria Scout parade and President Award(NISPPA- 2023), he states that ” The postponement is largely due to the desire of the Scout Association of Nigeria to fit into the tight schedule of the Leadership of the World organization of the Scout movement, which visit would be first in the history of Nigeria ”

The statement is coming on the heel of the meeting of the Scout Association held on the 25th January were series of activities for the rescheduled event were outlined.

Parts of the activities line- up are symposium, awards, 3 million – tree planting program with various rehearsals for the event.
