Former Head of state, calls for peaceful coexistence

Nigerians irrespective of ethnic and religious affiliation have been advised to give peace a chance for rapid socio-economic development in the country.

Former Head Of State General Abdulsalami Abubakar who stated this after observing the two rakaat’s prayer for Eid el fitr at the Minna Central prayer ground insisted that no nation develops without peace.

According to him elections have come and gone let’s try and see how we can support the incoming administration.

While congratulating the Muslim Ummah in Nigeria and World over for celebrating Eid el fitr the former head of state advised them to put into practice what they have learnt during Ramadan.
