Nigeria to invigorate bilateral trade relationship with china

Nigeria says it will strengthen its bilateral trade relationship with China to further invigorate national economic development

Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, Evelyn Ngige stated this during China – Nigeria Investment Economic Conference in Abuja

The Permanent Secretary, represented by the Director of Trade in the Ministry, Mr Suleiman Audu said both countries have over the years enjoyed mutually beneficial bilateral trade and economic cooperation in various sectors of the economy which includes agriculture, manufacturing, education, health, tourism, industry and services, construction, mining, skill development,to mention but just a few

According to her, the maiden Conference will provide another platform for identification of areas for mutual cooperation and trust, for economic growth and prosperity.

Mrs Ngige stated that the Federal Government through Nigeria Export Promotion Council, NEPC, has also launched the Export Trading House in Egypt, Kenya and Togo and scheduled to launch same in China this week

In his remark, the Executive Deputy District, Mayor of Yahua District, Mr Wu Pinghui said the conference would provide a platform to further strengthen Nigeria – China collaborations and investments, especially in the areas of
Agriculture and Agro-Allied Industries,
Mining, Investments in Gas Development, Digital Economy among others
