Prince Estifanos Matewos Sends United Africa Royal Assembly Envoys to Honor Botswana’s Peaceful Power Transfer

His Royal Highness Prince Estifanos Matewos, President of the United Africa Royal Assembly and Traditional Affairs and Governance Ambassador for the Pan-African Parliament, has extended his congratulations to Botswana’s new President, H.

E. Duma Gideon Boko, as part of a peaceful power transfer.

Although Prince Estifanos could not attend the inauguration in person, he designated special envoys to represent the United Africa Royal Assembly at the important event.

Among the delegates were prominent Assembly affiliates including His Grace Comforter T.

S. Modise, His Majesty the King Moholo Bakoena of Free State among other traditional leaders.

In a message to President-elect Boko, Prince Estifanos expressed his optimism for Botswana’s future and the impact of its new leadership on African unity. “As we move forward,” his statement read, “we look forward to working hand in hand with you, President Boko, and your government to foster a more united Africa.

“We trust that your leadership will uphold and strengthen the support, encouragement, and inclusivity for traditional authorities, ensuring their continued contribution to the development of both Botswana and the broader African continent,” he added.
