LugardTV Offers Internship Placement to Best Graduating Mass Communication Student from Federal University, Lokoja

In a bid to reward academic excellence and nurture young talents, LugardTV has offered an internship placement to the best graduating student of Mass Communication from the Federal University, Lokoja (FUL), Khadijat Blessing Mohammed.
The Special Adviser on Media to the Kogi State Governor, Ismaila Isah, formally welcomed Mohammed to the Government House Media Centre in Lokoja on Thursday, where he announced the offer.
He stated that this initiative aligns with Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s commitment to supporting exceptional students by providing them with hands-on experience and a conducive environment to grow and succeed as professionals in the media industry.
Speaking on the significance of the internship, Isah highlighted that the Government House Media Centre and LugardTV will offer the FUL graduate practical media knowledge, extensive exposure to media operations, and opportunities to collaborate with media professionals connected to the Kogi State Government.
“The placement is aimed at bridging the gap between the academia and the media industry, paving the way for future media leaders,” said Isah. “This internship will enable the candidate to engage in diverse facets of journalism, high-quality content creation, and media intelligence, giving her the foundation to excel in her chosen specialization within the media sector.”
He disclosed that the offer by LugardTV aims to bridge the gap between the academia and the media industry by opening doors for future media leaders.
He further noted that the internship placement is intended to provide the candidate with the chance to engage in various aspects of journalism, high-quality content creation and best-in-class media intelligence from which she may choose to specialize in the industry.
In her response, Khadijat Blessing Mohammed expressed appreciation for the gesture and promised to justify the opportunity in the course of working at the Government House Media Centre as an intern.
