FRSC embarks on Ember Months safer Road Campaign

The Federal Road Safety Corps FRSC has called on commutters to always speak and report reckless drivers for necessary action before it is too late.

FCT Sector commander, Muta’a Chorie who made the call in Abuja during an Ember Months Road Walk with the theme ‘Speak Up Against Dangerous Driving; Crashes Kill More Passengers”.

Mr Chorie who pointed out the important role commuters could play in checking reckless driving said all twenty unit commands in the federal capital territory have been directed to embark on Road Walk to sensitize road users on effects of dangerous driving.

In a remark representative of the National Emergency Management Agency, Chinwe Opara said the organization had deployed required logistics to support FRSC during emergencies, especially at the end of the year patrol .

Chinwe Opara, however, solicited the support of motorists, especially commercial drivers, for effective traffic control during the ember months and beyond.
