Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu Assumes Role as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Outlines Goals

Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu officially assumed her role as the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, following her swearing-in by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Ojukwu was welcomed by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Dunoma Ahmed, and senior management officials.
In an address to the press after settling into her office, Ambassador Ojukwu expressed her commitment to advancing President Tinubu’s “4Ds” foreign policy vision, emphasizing her dedication to leveraging her experience to bolster Nigeria’s international presence.
Ojukwu, a former Nigerian Ambassador to Spain, noted her intention to collaborate closely with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, to ensure that the rights and welfare of Nigerians living abroad are protected.
Additionally, she assured the leadership of the Diplomatic Correspondents’ Association of Nigeria (DICAN), led by President Comrade Idehai Frederick, of her willingness to work alongside the media to promote Nigeria’s foreign policy objectives.
