RCCG commissions road and water projects in Kubwa Abuja

The Assistant General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Ezekiel Odeyemi, has called on religious institutions to initiate projects that will have a direct impact on people living around their worship centers.

Pastor Ezekiel Odeyemi who gave this advice while commissioning a two-kilometer road and a borehole initiated by the RCCG Rhema Assembly in Kubwa, Abuja emphasized that paying special attention to corporate social responsibilities would help alleviate the challenges in rural communities.

He noted that RCCG has mandated all its Parishes to consistently embark on programs that promote peace and enhance the living standards of residents, regardless of their religion.

The Zonal Pastor in charge of RCCG Rhema Assembly, Arab Road, Kubwa, Pastor Emmanuel Olabanji, stated that the church has also assisted one hundred and fifty pupils in the community by providing educational materials, school uniforms, and their school fees.

Pastor Olabanji assured that the church would continue to complement government’s efforts in providing social amenities for host communities.

The leader of the community, Otunba Kelvin Olumide, thanked the church and pledged that the residents would make judicious use of the borehole and other facilities provided by the church.
