A massive fire has engulfed the popular AP Plaza in Wuse 2, Abuja, on Saturday causing serious damages to properties and raising safety concerns among residents and business owners in the area.

The inferno reportedly started around noon, sending smoke into the sky and drawing the attention of onlookers who watched helplessly as the flames spread.

At the time of filing this report, the actual cause of the fire remains sketchy, though investigations are expected to be underway.

While the cause of the fire remains unknown, authorities have launched an investigation to determine what may have sparked the blaze.

AP Plaza management has promised to work closely with investigators and the fire service to uncover the cause and provide updates to affected business owners and tenants.

No injuries or fatalities have been reported so far, but officials have urged the public to avoid the area as firefighters work to extinguish the remaining flames and ensure the building’s structural integrity.

AP Plaza, situated along the busy Ademola Adetokunbo Crescent, Wuse 2, is a major shopping and business hub, housing numerous businesses and offices.
