Gov. Sule ‘ll leave Nasarawa industrialized, better,– ex-Information Commissioner.

Former Commissioner of Information, Culture and Tourism, Hon Dogo Shamma on Saturday called on the citizens of the state to put behind them politics and join hand with governor Abdullahi Sule in his drive to industrialize the state.

Shammah, who commended the governor’s turn around of the state inspite of the harsh economic environment, said collective engagements was neccesary to bring the desperation of the governor in making Nasarawa state an investment hub to reality.

Recalled that Comrade Dogo Shammah served as a Commissioner of Information, Culture and Tourism during the first tenure of Governor Sule.

“I want to commend Governor Abdullahi Sule for his relentless effort to make Nasarawa State a business hub in the North Central zone.

According to the former Commissioner, “the recent hosting of intended investors to generate hydro power at the Farin-Ruwa Dam in Wamba LGA will open up the area, bring development, economic growth and transformation to the ever lie low local government endowed with potentials” He assured

“For having interest in the project, it is my believe that it will help at fulfilling one of the road map to meeting the power needs in not only Nasarawa state but the country at large, especially in boosted small scale enterprises.

“His interest in hosting Investors is a clear demonstration of his desire to fast – tract development, as he recently hosted Investors who intend to generating Hydro-power at the Farin-Ruwa Dam in Wamba Local Government Area.

The former chairman of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, NUJ, expressed satisfaction with the high level of commitment and residents of Governor Sule in the affairs of the state, however called for peaceful, fair, transparent just and credible local councils elections slated for November second, 2024 in the state.

According to the former Commissioner, “as campaigns are under way, I employ both Chairmanship and Councillorship Candidates across the party line in the state to engage electorates in all nooks and crannies to ensure peaceful conduct of the polls .
