Prophet Julius Ayotunde Buries Mother In Grand Style

In a sermon during the funeral ceremony which took place at Christ Centered Prayer City, Iragbiji, Ikirun Expressway Road, Osogbo, Osun State, the Vice President, Ministerial, Nigerian Baptist Convention, Rev.

John Enyinnaya admonished Christians to always live a life worthy of emulation.

While describing death as inevitable, the Clergyman also enjoined christians to always shun sinful acts that could deny them eternal life.

He equally stressed the need for them to be dedicated to the service of God and humanity.

Also in his sermon during the Wake Keep of the Deceased, the President of Nigerian Baptist Convention, Reverend Dr Isreal Akanji extolled the good virtues of Late Mrs Emily Olabisi Awotunde.

According to Reverend Dr Isreal Akanji, the late Mrs Awotunde lived a Christian life that was reflected during her life’s time most especially for producing a General Overseer of living church and other Men of God as well as responsible children.

He therefore advised christian women to always ensure proper upbringing of their children towards ensuring a better society.

In their testimonies about the deceased, some members of First Baptist Church, Budale, Araromi -Owu, Osun State said Mrs Emily Olabisi Awotunde was a good woman and worked tirelessly in the Church towards promoting the propagation of the gospel.

While singing her favourite gospel song, the Church members prayed God to grant her eternal life.

In his tribute on behalf of the Children, the General Overseer of Christ Centered Prayer City, Osogbo, Osun State, Prophet Dr Julius Abiola Ayotunde, JP, described their mother as good woman who loved and cared for her children.

While describing their mother as a lover of formal education, Prophet Dr Ayotunde appreciated the Leadership of the Nigerian Baptist Convention, other Men of God, Churches and Dignitaries who graced the funeral ceremony.

Mrs Emily Olabisi Awotunde who died at the age of 103 was survived by children, grand children and great grand children as well as other relatives.
