Eid-ul-Mawlid: Promote Unity, Reconciliation, Ex-Senate President Lawan Tells Nigerians

Senator Lawan in a personally signed statement describes Eid-ul- Mawlid as an auspicious occasion

The statement reads:

“I enjoin Muslims all over to reflect on the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), who brought a message of love, mercy, and forgiveness to the world”

“As we celebrate the birthday of our noble Prophet, let us strive to follow in his footsteps by being kind to our neighbours, helping those in need, and working towards a more just and equitable society”

“Eid-ul-Mawlid is a reminder of the common values that unite us as a people.

May the blessings of Allah (SWT) be upon you and your loved ones”
