During the thanksgiving service of his priestly ordination at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Paulosa, Niger State, Rev. Fr. Innocent Abah called for greater unity within the Christian community, emphasizing that all priests and Christians share a common objective: the salvation of souls.

Addressing recent disputes among clergy, Rev. Fr. Abah stressed that division within the Church is unnecessary as everyone is ultimately working towards the same spiritual goal.

He described the priesthood as both a sacred and noble vocation that deserves profound respect.

In his address, Rev. Fr. Abah reminded fellow priests to adhere closely to the traditional Christian teachings and avoid introducing doctrines that deviate from the faith.

He highlighted the importance of maintaining unity and focusing on the collective mission of saving souls to prevent internal conflicts and disagreements.
