Supreme Court Verdict: N/Central governors ‘Forum Chairman Congratulates Kogi governor over Supreme court judgement

Nasarawa State Governor and Chairman, North Central Governor’s Forum Abdullahi A.Sule has congratulated Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo on his victory at the Supreme Court.

Reacting to the ruling of the apex Court on Friday in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Adra, Governor Sule described Ododo’s victory as an affirmation of the will of the people of Kogi state, and a firm root of justice and democracy”.

Sule who called on Governor Ododo to put behind him the litigations that characterized his governorship election and redouble efforts to deliver good governance that would propel prosperity, development in Kogi in line with the manifesto of APC

While urging the Kogi governor to be magnanimous in victory and be a Governor for all, Sule also used the occasion to appeal to the people of the state to rally round the administration for the benefit of the state and the region and the country as a whole.

He enjoined governor Ododo not to be distracted and remain focused in his mandate as the governor of the state.
“Do not allow yourself to be distracted by your detractors who will want to work against your administration”

The governor also appealed to the Kogi citizens particularly APC members and supporters to rally round the administration of governor Ododo to succeed in his mandate overwhelmingly
given to him”

“The North Central governor’s Forum will continue to support, help provide enabling environments for you to propel development and transformation in Kogi state.
