Nasarawa CP Nadada Decorates 143 newly promoted officers; harps on professionalism

The Commissioner of Police, Nasarawa State Command, Umar Shehu Nadada, Friday decorated One Hundred and Forty Three (143) Officers promoted from the rank of Inspector of Police to Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP II) with their new ranks.
Speaking while decorating the newly promoted officers in Lafia, CP Nadada charged the officers to be professional and civil to members of the public.
The CP in a statement signed by the Command Public Relations Officer, DSP Nansel Ranham further admonished the officers to brace up to the challenges, responsibilities that comes with their new ranks and status; as he equally enjoined the officers to have a change in their behavior as unprofessional conducts will be viewed seriously.
“Your level and status have changed. Do not abandon your family; take proper care of them so that your impact will be felt and celebrate moderately.
He then applauded the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, as well as the Chairman of Police service commission for finding the beneficiaries worthy of promotion.
While congratulating the newly promoted officers, the Commissioner of Police further warned the officers against abuse of officer, urging them to pulled the tenet of safeguarding and protecting the lives and property of the citizens
Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, ASP Zakari Magaji appreciated the Commissioner of Police for recommending them for promotion and assured him of productive performance.
