2027: Senator Wadada blows hot, Says I’m an Indigene of Nasarawa State ***My great-grandfather migrated to Nasarawa 200 years ago

The Senator representing Nasarawa West Senatorial district, Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada blew hot to lay to rest issue of indignation saying his great grand parents migrated to Nasarawa state over 200 years ago.

Wadada, the Chairman Senate Committee on Public Account elected in 2023 under the platform of the Social Democratic Party spoke at the Nasarawa state Chairman of the ruling APC, Aliyu Bello’s Charity Educational Foundation and
Empowerment Programme In Support of Orphans, Less Privilege and IDP’s 2024 at Taal Conference Hotel, Lafia.

The lawmaker said what matters especially in Nigeria politics is not where you come from but who can deliver the needed dividends of democracy to the people.

“Calling me an alien or non indigene in Nasarawa state having spending all my life in the state is baseless, going by memory lane that my great-grandfather migrated to Nasarawa State in the past 200 years” Wadada declared

“It doesn’t matter where you come from but our concern should be focused on what we will do for our people. We must be watchful and careful about what we say” Senator Wadada cautioned

He called on parents to be responsible for the upbringing of their children but not rely on Aliyu Bello Charity Foundation to pay bills or rely on the Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada Foundation.

The Senator representing Nasarawa West appreciates the resilience and doggedness of the ruling party Chairman in the State, Aliyu Bello for initiating this Charity Foundation for the sake of humanity.

“Aliyu Bello, you deserved this acolyte of who has added value to humanity. Adding value to humanity is adding value to God. I envy Aliyu Bello for the laudable investment for the future generation”.

Wadada who further disclosed that education remains a veritable tool for empowering, entrenching, and eradicating poverty, urged Nigerians to watch out for the choice of leaders, advocating for viable, pragmatic, idealist, contemporary, and humble leader.

He however commended the State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule for turning around the State within the shortest possible time.

According to Wadada: “Even if you give the Governor another 100 years, he will only do his best and leave the rest for his successors”

Senator Wadada applauded Engineer Abdullahi Sule for redoubling his efforts in the area of security, infrastructural development, employment of lecturers in tertiary institutions, teachers in Secondary schools and primary schools as well.

While appealing to Nigerian youth to bury their grievances by toing the path of peace rather than protesting against the incumbent administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu which was just one year and two months, Wadada donated N5m while the Federal Commissioner Commission for Refugees and IDPs, Ahmed Aliyu Tijjani donated N1m to the Chairman of Aliyu Bello Charity and Educational Foundation

“The President meant well for the country”. Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada stated.

Also speaking, a Federal Commissioner in charge of the Commission for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, Ahmed Aliyu Tijjani announced that the youth of Nasarawa have no reason to protest against hunger and poverty in Nasarawa as according to him, President is working round the clock to fix the country to its rightful place.

According to Ahmed Aliyu Tijjani told the organizer of the occasion that he would set up a foundation that will carry people across the thirteen Local Governments along.

The State Governor, Abdullahi Sule represented by the Commissioner of Commence and Industry, Abubakar Zanwa described the Chairman of the ruling party in the State, Aliyu Bello as a dedicated Nigerian whose focus was the upliftment of education.

Sule called on the affluent in the society to support humanity by investing in humanity, He added.
