Ex-Senate President Lawan Mourns Ifeanyi Ubah’s Death

President of the 9th Senate, Sen. Ahmad Lawan, mourns the demise of Senator representing Anambra South, Ifeanyi Ubah, whose death occurred on Saturday in London.

Senator Ubah until his death was the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Petroleum Downstream.

He was aged 52.

Senator Lawan, who represents Yobe North Senatorial District, sends condolences to his family, the Nigerian Senate and the Anambra state government over the passing of the deceased.

The condolence message by Senator Lawan reads: “It is with deep sorrow and profound sadness that I express my heartfelt condolences to the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the family of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, and the people of Anambra State over the passing of our Distinguished colleague, Sen.

Ifeanyi Ubah.

“Senator Ifeanyi Ubah was not just a distinguished member of the Senate; he was a dedicated public servant whose passion to serve our country was evident in all his endeavours. His commitment to the welfare of his constituents and his advocacy for crucial policies will be deeply missed. Senator Ubah was a champion for progress and unity, who during his lifetime strived tirelessly to improve the living standard of those he represented.

“As we mourn this huge loss, he will be remembered for his strength, vision, and the positive impact he had on the lives of many. His legacy will forever live on in the projects he initiated, and the principles he stood for.
