Female Journalist needs N5 million for brain surgery, appeals for assistance

A 38-year female journalist in Bauchi State, Hafsat Abdulhamid Adebayo is seeking a financial assistance to enable her undergo brain surgery.
Adebayo has been
battling to raise N5 million is said to have been suffering from brain tumour.

Sources said she has been bedridden for the last four years since diagnosed with a brain tumor at the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) after several efforts at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital Bauchi.

Her elder sister, Aishat Abdulhamid said Hafsat’s sickness started four years ago, adding “She has really suffered a lot, we have spent all our savings; friends, family and colleagues have really tried.

She had a surgery last year with the intervention of the Bauchi State Government where the tumour was evacuated and was recovering at home.

“We are currently at the JUTH. We were told that she has to undergo another emergency surgery. As we speak, for more than a week, she cannot eat, talk and walk. The consultant told us that she will have the operation this week. We appeal to Nigerians to assist us, may God bless.”
