2027: Nasarawa APC holds crucial reconciliation meeting as Speaker preaches unity, peace

Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, has called for peace, unity and forgiveness among APC stakeholders and members for the progress and success of the party in the state and the country at large beyond 2027.

This is even as the speaker as the speaker explained that reconciliation remained the veritable tools for successes if the party must remain in power beyond 2027.

Mending fences, forgiveness, tolerance and other crucial issues formed the basis at a one day critical stakeholders meeting of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC for Nasarawa West Senatorial Zone convened at the instance of the Speaker Rt.

The marathon APC stalwarts meeting which was held in Keffi LGA. underscored the importance of peace, unity and forgiveness among party stakeholders and members as crucial for party victory.

Speaker Jatau said stakeholders and members of the party must remain united and focus at all times, adding that the meeting was to appreciate the stakeholders for their support to his leadership as Speaker of the State House of Assembly.

“As a Speaker of Nasarawa State House of Assembly and I am from western zone, I feel to organize this critical stakeholders meeting of APC so that we should continue to unite ourselves for the victory of our party beyond 2027.

” Let’s unite for the progress of our party and the state at large. I also call for this meeting so that we should have the spirit of forgiveness, we should forgive ourselves and come together as one family” he added.

According to Speaker, the meeting was aimed at drumming support for the government of Engr. Abdullahi Sule to succeed.

” I call for this meeting so that we can speak with one voice, support the government of His Excellency, Engr. A A Sule to succeed. Governor Sule is doing credibly well. He has written the name of Nasarawa State in gold and in the map of the world for what he is doing” the Speaker said.

The Speaker expressed happiness with the turn out of stakeholders in the meeting while assuring of his leadership commitment not to fail them and the state at large.

” By God’s grace, I will not disappoint the people of Nasarawa West Senatorial zone and the state at large. I will continue to do my best by ensuring the development of our zone and the state at large” he said.

The Speaker assured Governor Sule of the 7th Assembly readiness under his leadership to support and synergize with him for the overall development of the State.

The meeting had in attendance, Prof. Abdulkarim Kana, APC National Legal Adviser, Hon Aliyu Bello, Nasarawa Stare APC Chairman, Hon. Abdulmumin Ari, Member House of Representatives for Nasarawa/Toto, State Assembly lawmakers, LG Chairmen, LG Party Chairmen, Hon. Commissioners, Arch Shehu Tukur among others all harped on peace, unity and forgiveness among party stakeholders and members for the overall peace, progress and success of the party at all times.
