Senator Orji Uzor Kalu Empowers Constituents During Interactive Session in Igbere

Last week, Senator Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu of Abia North Senatorial District embarked on a holiday spent connecting with his constituents in Igbere, Bende LGA, Abia State.

Known for his grassroots approach to politics, Senator Kalu engaged extensively with local structures including the OUK Movement, APC, and REALITY Organization.

The interactive session saw attendance from key figures such as state APC Chairman Dr.

Kingsley Ononogbu and Chief Donatus Nwamkpa, alongside state EXCOS, LG Chairmen, and Ward Chairmen. Senator Kalu’s Special Assistants and Senior Legislative Aides were also present to witness the proceedings.

During the session, Senator Kalu not only interacted with attendees but also demonstrated his commitment to community empowerment.

He distributed thousands of sewing machines to LG and ward chairmen, emphasizing their importance in fostering skill development and economic empowerment among women in the community.

The senator instructed that the machines be distributed to women leaders in their respective wards, enabling them to utilize existing sewing skills or learn new ones for personal and community benefit.

In response to the senator’s initiatives, attendees expressed gratitude for his unwavering support and leadership in Abia North. They acknowledged Senator Kalu as a pivotal figure and the driving force behind the progress and hope within the Senatorial zone.

Reflecting on the event, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu reiterated his commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of his constituents through empowerment and community engagement.

The interactive session underscored his dedication to service and strengthened ties between the senator and the people he represents.

The event was organized by the Motivational Media Squad (MMS), founded by Glory Otitodirichukwu Ibe, who serves as Special Legislative Aide (SLA) to Senator Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu.
