The Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, has issued a statement addressing the brief slip President Tinubu experienced during the June 12 Democracy Day celebration in Abuja.

During the June 12 Democracy Day celebration in Abuja, President Bola Tinubu momentarily slipped while boarding a parade vehicle.

Videos circulated on social media capturing the moment when the President momentarily lost his footing while boarding a parade vehicle at the Eagles Square.

In his statement posted on his social media handle X, Olusegun downplayed the incident, describing it as a “mild misstep.

He emphasized that President Tinubu quickly recovered and continued with the ceremonial rounds without any interruption.

He reassured the public that it was a minor misstep.

Despite the brief stumble, President Tinubu promptly regained his balance and proceeded with the ceremonial activities.

The ceremony at Eagles Square is a significant event in the nation’s annual Democracy Day celebration, with various festivities held across the country to commemorate the occasion.
