Founder, Love of Christ Generation Church, Reverend Mother Esther Ajayi also known as Iya Aladura, has underscored the need for love and peaceful coexistence.

This, she maintained, would solve the myraids of challenges confronting the nation.

She spoke to journalists at a rally to herald this year’s edition of ‘Celebrate the Comforter’ annual convention in Abuja.

The rally which held around the MKO Abiola National Stadium Abuja, was to sensitize Nigerians on the forthcoming convention which holds on the 20th of July, 2024.

The cerebral cleric said when public officials allow the love for one another to guide their activities in office, services would improve for all Nigerians and the population would get full benefit of the national welfare programmes.

On her message to Nigerians, she said: “Keep loving. With love you can’t miss it. If you love the people you are ruling the money that is meant for everybody, you won’t stash it somewhere. If you love your neighbour, you won’t use them for ritual, you won’t kidnap them. With love you can’t miss it. Keep loving. The book of John 3:16 for God so loved the world.

“He loves us so we should keep loving. As we love, if you’re a billionaire, you will share among the poor”.

The programme, she stressed, was informed by patriotism and love for her country, even as she emphasised the need for contentment. “Everything that we are sharing since you have been watching us is free. You share it. You’re not going to take money to heaven. The Bible makes us know that you come to this world with nothing. Obviously, you are going back with nothing. Keep loving. When love of the Lord saturates in your heart, you will spread it to humanity”, Iya Aladura said.

The popular clergy said despite the challenges confronting the nation, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

On President Tinubu’s one year in office, the Founder said, “I’m not a politician. But there is something about Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Before this, I have been saying this: he’s a bold person. He’s a courageous person. It might take a little bit of time before we can begin to see the effect. But mark you, it’s going to happen. And us coming at this time, the Lord is talking to us spiritually. That Nigeria is going to be great again as the good Lord lives. He’s going to touch the source of our economy. And he will turn it around for the best”.
