In a bid to address the critical shortage of skilled manpower in the aviation sector, the Federal Government has granted approval for the establishment of the Eastwing Aviation Training Institute, in the South East region of the country.

Following a rigorous technical evaluation by the Federal Government, the Eastwing Aviation Training Institute has now been officially listed under the auspices of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).

With this accreditation, the institute is poised to commence the process of admitting students through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), offering programs that lead to the award of national diploma and higher national diploma qualifications.

Dr. Christopher Edeh, the founder and CEO of Eastwing Aviation, expressed his enthusiasm about the approval, emphasizing the transformative opportunities it presents for aspiring aviation professionals.

He urged young individuals to seize the chance provided by the institution to pursue careers as pilots, aviation engineers, cabin crew members, and other roles within the aviation sector.

Dr. Edeh remarked, “The approval signifies a significant milestone for our youths, as it opens doors for them to explore and excel in the aviation industry. Our institution is committed to nurturing dreams and ensuring that graduates are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed for success in their chosen fields.”

In addition to its core academic programs, the Eastwing Aviation Institute has also launched a non-governmental organization dedicated to supporting talented but financially disadvantaged youths. This initiative underscores the institute’s commitment to fostering inclusivity and providing opportunities for individuals from diverse backgrounds to pursue their aspirations in the aviation sector.

Dr. Edeh highlighted success stories of individuals who have flourished in the aviation industry, citing examples of individuals who have risen from humble beginnings to achieve remarkable careers through dedication and mentorship.
