Kogi East polls : Senator Jibrin Isah Echocho of APC defeats Victor Adoji of PDP

The senator representing Kogi East in the 9th Senate Jibrin Isah of the APC has defeated Doctor Victor Adoji of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Senator Isah is a serving lawmaker in ninth National Assembly and vice chairman, Senate committee on finance.

He was declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

The INEC Returning Officer, Professor Musa Adeku Ibrahim said, Isah polled 108,784 votes being the highest against his closest contender, Victor Adoji of the Peoples Democratic Party who got 81,867.
