A yet to be identified motor cyclist has abducted three young brothers on their home from school, in Amaoba Ime Oboro in Abia State,

Glory Osinachi, the anguished mother, recounted the devastating events that unfolded on May 10, 2024, leaving her family in turmoil.

The children, eight-year-old Gideon Osinachi, six-year-old Divine Osinachi, and four-year-old Israel Osinachi—reportedly boarded a motorcycle with a commercial cyclist, only to disappear without a trace.

According to Mrs. Osinachi, “It happened on Friday at about 4pm while returning from my mother-in-law’s house.

Detailing the customary routine, she explained, “Whenever they are returning from school, they would stop over at my mother-in-law’s and then later they would walk home or take a motorcycle.

” The close proximity of the school, her mother-in-law’s residence, and their own home made the journey seemingly routine and safe.

The family’s distress peaked when it became evident that the children had failed to return home as expected.

“The children closed school by 2pm, My mother-in-law put them on the motorcycle when they were leaving,” Mrs. Osinachi lamented, struggling to comprehend the gravity of the situation.

The community, stunned by the unprecedented occurrence, mobilized efforts to locate the missing children. Despite appeals to the Commercial Cyclists Association for assistance, hopes were dashed when the association’s executives denied any involvement, asserting that none of their members matched the description provided.
