PDP National Chairmanship: For Hon. David Emmanuel Ombugadu, the storm shall be victorious

The game has begun. The fight will become even more dirty, messier. The stakes are high and certainly some vested interest will stop at nothing to achieve their goal.
They will apply all the techniques, they can be cunning, smart and above all ruthless, in the pursuit of their ambition.
It was the Icon of African literature, Chinua Achebe who rightly stated that, “Until the Lion have their own historians, the history of the hunt will always glorify the hunters.
Successes and achievements recorded during his tenure in the National Assembly, acceptability of his person by the generality of Nigerians, articulated programmes and policies enunciated and exhibited in his leadership pursuit has spoken volumes even outside government.
For long, Hon. David Emmanuel Ombugadu, the workaholic lawmaker, philanthropist as fondly called by his people, admirers and associates has been Chinua Achebe proverbial Lion-whose story of hunt has been told by the hunters, Ombugadu has since change the narrative and is still changing and the starting point is for his constituent, the People’s Democratic party PDP to tell his story of good governance and impact driven interventions shown and testified by many especially who is who in the people’s Democratic party and outside his enclave.
The core of his service to humanity, and mandate in life of Ombugadu is to protect and project the interests of the people through several and well articulated and well designed programmes and policies towards the enhancement of good governance in Nigeria at large writ-large; and so far so good, these virtues has stand Ombugadu out among other interest group in the nation polity and politics.
Hon. David Emmanuel Ombugadu has not only proved to Nigerians that he can do and has done enough to justify the pride and the core mandate and interests of the nation, If effective and efficient leadership has as it hallmark in the protection of the interests of those they represent, Ombugadu has demonstrated the zeal, passion and commitment further by protecting and projecting the interests of Nigerians and indeed the North central state as well as Nasarawa state in the global context.
If leadership is a language, the immediate past governorship candidate of the people’s Democratic party PDP in Nasarawa state has been breaking his back to fluently speak that political language to Nigerians, Nasarawa state government and the Federal government through leadership qualities even beyond
His numerous interventions especially at the grassroots will outlive him, as Nasarawa and indeed PDP as a party have not had it this better in the context of meaningful contributions and impact driven interventions.
There’s no gain debating the fact that PDP need a resourceful, pragmatic, conscious, resilient and committed leader such as Hon. Ombugadu to pilot the affairs of the party at the Chairmanship level especially at this time that the party is bedeviled by leadership crisis. Sentiment should be kept aside at this crucial moment of the nation’s and the opposition PDP threshold to bring in genuine leader such as Hon David Emmanuel Ombugadu to salvage the party, and open up a new chapter in the political structure in PDP.
PDP should at these moment of reengineering, repositioning and strengthening the political structure and leadership ahead of 2027 deemphasize going after the wrong prey so that at the end, the hunter will not become the haunted, because those parading themselves will carry the stigma of their failure with them. Hon. David Emmanuel Ombugadu is a dogged fighter, a man with thick skin against all forms of intimidations and persecution.
As the campaign to occupy the national chairmanship position of the People’s Democratic party ( PDP ) thickens, the stage is yet set for intrigues and political gameplay especially among those lacking in acceptance and true leadership capacity, but feel they must occupy the seat, will most certainly, be intimidated by the towering profile of outstanding leader and politicians such as David Emmanuel Ombugadu. A rugged fighter, who singlehandedly withstood the combined arsenal of both the state and national structures of the ruling All Progressive Congress APC, preparatory to his electoral victory back in 2023
In spite of all the efforts to pull him down, Ombugadu triumphed over all the hurdles hurled along his political trajectory, rising in profile and demonstrating his sterling leadership qualities, a leader that is able to exhibit that rare steadfastness and resoluteness while pursuing a determined goal.
Now that he is on another trail of journey of discovery, with his eyes set on the seat of the national chairman of PDP, the same game plan may unfold because of Ombugadu’s growing popularity and acceptability, as the likely candidate to be the next national chairman of PDP
