Senator Isah advocates love , unity at Easter

The Senator, representing Kogi East and Chairman senate committee on Customs services and Tarrif, Senator Jibrin Isah has called on Christians to imbibe the spirit of love and unity as they celebrate the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus Christ during the Easter season.

He called on all his constituents to draw spiritual inspiration from the Easter celebration, while urging them to reflect on the sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus Christ who suffered on the Cross of calvary for the sake of mankind

Senator Isah in his Easter message said, Christians should show case the season to demonstrate Christ -like life by giving to the less privileged in the society in the interest of unity and peaceful coexistence.

He stressed the need for Christians to allow the symbol of Jesus Christ’s death on the cross to reflect in their lives.

The lawmaker appealed to all and sundry to speak up against injustice and all activities that tend to militate against equal opportunities, fairness and national unity in the country.

Senator Isah emphasized the need to use the season as period of renewal of hope and sober reflection, adding that the season should remind us of the importance of compassion, unity, and resilience.
