Cease futile antics, Akpabio isn’t guilty – Emmanuel Nkpubre

An economic consultant and chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Mr Emmanuel Nkpubre, has sounded a note of warning to those bent on pulling down the Nigerian Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, to seize their antics forthwith.

He said Senator Akpabio was a man with great moral credentials, known for fixing lapses in any position he finds himself, and wouldn’t get involved in anything detrimental to the interest of Nigerians.

Nkpubre said that the trio of President Tinubu, Vice President Shetima and Senator Akpabio, judging from their antecedents, were mixed strengths that have what it takes to take Nigerians out of the pits of despair.

The President of Senator Godswill Akpabio Fans Club condemned the “Rubber Stamp” insinuations on the “hardworking senate president as a misrepresentation of the burning zest in the Leadership of the Senate to bring succours to the quandaries of the Nigerian nation.

He advised that no Nigerian should pray for the sour relationships both Presidents Jonathan and Buhari had with the legislature, to exist between President Tinubu and the 10th legislature, as such would hamper Nigeria’s development.

“Senator Akpabio that we know is a peaceful man that will never want a rancourous atmosphere with the President. He knows that when two elephants fight, the grass suffer”, he said.

Emmanuel Nkpubre who has worked with budget committees of many government agencies, emphasized that the layout of the nation’s 2024 Appropriation Bill, was explicit and unambiguously laid out for a layman to understand.

“In the capital expenditure, there was nothing to question in the bill. Details are available online for Nigerians to access. The budget padding accusation was only a crooked way to rubbish the meticulous leadership of the 10th Senate, and by extension, question the control mechanisms of the presidency.

“We see private jets, 5 star hotels, Lamborghinis, Bugattis, Rolls Royces and heaps of high profile properties owned by Nigerian politicians, can someone show us anyone that’s owned by Senator Akpabio?” Since after uncommon transformation of Akwa Ibom State by Senator Godswill Akpabio from 2007-2015, enemies of progress have ceaselessly petitioned all manner of anti-graft agencies against Akpabio.

“To God be the glory, the incorruptible grace-carrier has never been found wanting in these accusations, even during his days in the opposition party”, He affirmed.

The founder and national coordinator of Tinubu Progressive Alliance (TIPA) warned warmongers to stop distracting the senate president from concentrating with his duty.

“Who believed that the Nation budget cycle could ever be corrected with ease, after several years of off-cycle appropriations? Who believed the era when the legislation arena was turned to a boxing arena will be over? No nation strives gloriously with disharmony in her vital arms of governance.

“Senator Godswill Akpabio has never failed in his duty posts. The positive energy brought by the leadership of the 10th Senate into the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu is already crystalizing in different facets of the nation’s redemption prayer points.

“The administration is putting Nigeria on her toes for the positive leaps we all desire. I foresee the Nigerian Senate under the leadership of Senator Godswill Akpabio archiving a testament in the annals of Nigerian political history.” He concluded.
