Lawmaker representing Kogi Central senatorial district, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has congratulated Muslim faithful as the 2024 Ramadan begins.

The lawmaker noted that Ramadan is a sacred month to reflect and learn the act of fairness, sacrifice, tolerance, patience, and forgiveness as embodied by the holy prophet Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

According to her, these virtues are what society needs to function and live harmoniously and always be conscious of the actions that can affect others and the general society.

She called on the Muslim faithful to use the opportunity of Ramadan fasting to learn the virtues of the prophet and apply them in all their dealings while contributing to the growth of the country.
