Anniversary : pray for Tinubu , Sule others to succeed—- Nasarawa Speaker, begs Nigerians

Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, has appealed to Nigerians not to be tired praying for president Ahmed Bola Tinubu, Abdullahi Sule and other leaders as they need prayers much more than ever before to over come the challenges confronting the Nation.

The speaker however scored President Bola Ahmed Tinubu high in the provision of infrastructure, security and in other sectors of the economy in the last one year in office.

He also acknowledged the giant strides recorded by the administration of Governor Abdullahi Sule in Nasarawa State saying that the Governor has done well citing oil discovery, mining, inflow of investors, employments, enhanced revenue among others.

The Speaker spoke to in journalists in Lafia to mark one year in office of President Tinubu and one year of Governor Abdullahi Sule

According to Hon. Jatau, President Tinubu deserved commendation over his positive impact in the areas of infrastructure, security and other sectors of the economy as well as his bold decisions aimed at addressing some long term challenges facing the nation.

He said the current hardship faced by citizens as a result of fuel subsidy removal are temporal and the nation will soon overcome them and the nation will be better for it.

“Challenges are part of human existence, and Mr President by the grace of God will address them gradually, he has the capacity to do that, let have hope on him, support and pray for him, he has good plans for the country and he will achieve it by the grace of God, to my believe things are gradually changing for the better, let be patience ”

” His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu meant well for Nigerians What he is doing in the area of infrastructure such as roads across the country among others are commendable, this is just one year into the journey of four years, it shall be well and Nigeria will be better for it at the end of the day. we will get it right by God’s grace, we will get there” the Speaker said.

He further called on Nigerians to be patient with President Tinubu, saying that Tinubu and Governor Sule’s administrations are addressing the hardship being faced by Nigerians over the removal of fuel subsidy in the country.

“The Federal and State governments have provided palliatives and are still providing more, other positive measures are still being put in place to cushion the effects of the fuel subsidy removal in the country.

While appreciating Governor Abdullahi Sule for his developmental strides across the state, the speaker declared that there no form of executive, legislative rancour in Nasarawa state adding that the relationship was cordial.

“We have a very good and cordial working relationship with the Executive and this is the only way to enhance development. If there is no effective synergy and collaboration among the arms of government, meaningful development will not take place.

“Look at what is going on in Rivers State between executive and the legislature, it is not a good omen, which may likely affects development negatively

“So far, Engr. A A Sule has performed credibly well in the areas of provision of infrastructure, security, employment, mineral exploration among others. We are happy with what His Excellency is doing. He has attracted investors to the State, Look at the lithium processing plant in the state, not to talk of oil discovery, payment of pension and gratuity first of its kind, massive employments in the civil service, enhanced revenue base of the State among others” he said.

The Speaker called on the people of the state and Nigerians to continue to pray and support President Tinubu, Gov Sule, the legislators and other leaders at all levels to succeed.
